High School Spring Lecture 2017

　On April 22nd, 2017 we had a guest lecture, Hirofumi Seo who is CEO of Sciement, came to give a lecture at Ritsumeikan Keisho High School. Mr. Seo gave a lecture about Medical Computer Graphics and the way forward with them. Furthermore, he spoke additionally about his past and what he had accomplished in the past.

　I heard Mr. Seo give a lecture about his past all the way from his kindergarten days up until the present. What I first thought about his lecture was if I want to do something and challenge myself that I need to have a serious attitude and take a chance on something. Also, I learned various things about the medical field and also the advancement of America or abroad. Lastly in his conclusion he stated that there is almost nobody in the world who can do anything from the beginning, and that you must do what is right in front of you first of all. Then, with your interests and ability that you will learn to grow and enhance yourself. Additionally, I learned that your character is very important, so I want the opportunity to take a chance on myself.

　I thought that Mr. Seo’s time management is incredible since he went to The University of Tokyo and also a computer graphic design school at the exact same time. I also felt that through his lecture that the things you experience, learn, and see from junior high school have a very big impact on your life. Furthermore, I learned the most important thing is by doing whatever it is that you can little by little, and that everybody has to start from the beginning, and that it is your hard work which pays dividends. Lastly, I learned that no matter how difficult things are, that sleep is the most vital thing in your life.
