SGH Ainu Special Lecture 1 Cabinet Secretariat Councilor Mr. Sato

On Thursday, April 26th, Mr. Hisayasu Sato, Cabinet Secretariat Councilor, lectured our third grade international society class. Mr. Sato, the man driving the policy of promotion of the country’s Ainu population, gave a lecture titled “Regarding the National Theme and Conception of ‘The Symbol of Space for the Coexistence of Ethnic Groups’”
Restoration = Inheritance and Creation. Visitors’ accounts of their visits within Hokkaido. The ins and outs of the Ainu’s cultural revival. These were the topics discussed by Mr. Sato. Participating students diligently jotted down their notes while listening to his lecture on “The Symbol of Space for the Coexistence of Ethnic Groups.”
During the Q&A session, students were able to draw out Mr. Sato’s views related to their own ideas, opinions, and proposals. For them, it was a stimulating and provocative period of time.
 Thank you, Cabinet Secretariat Councilor.
